About Us

Peggy Kandies was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and raised in Charleston SC. She went to North Charleston High School and later Trident Tech to take the Paralegal Training in which she used her legal training to help others with no pay.

Peggy has spent a lot of years volunteering in the Charleston schools, Alice Birney and Stall High School as art teacher.

While at Alice Birney Elementary School, the Post & Courier did an article about her which resulted in her then becoming a paid employee. Peggy still has a letter from Superintendent Malcom Hursey for a job well done.

Peggy was mostly a home mother. She worked at Home Interiors home show decorating for 10 years, worked at Dixie Furniture as Asst Mgr , buyer and sales for approximately 8 years and also at Rhodes Furniture co.

She’s worked for IBM in Charleston SC as a Parts Mgr. Peggy considers herself a number person, and I remember names well.

Among a host of things Peggy is an artist, (she loves painting in oils), cut Silhouettes freehand, scenic and profile.

She loves flower arranging and has been a SC Notary.
